As election season and yard sale season begin picking up, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is reminding residents that signs are not permitted within state highway right of way areas.
This includes:
- Campaign signs
- Yard sale signs
- Advertising signs
- Signs attached to poles, guardrails, fences, or road signs
These restrictions help improve roadway visibility and safety while allowing maintenance crews to work safely and efficiently.
Signs placed improperly may be removed by KYTC crews.
