🏡 City-Wide Yard Sale – Save the Date
The annual City Yard Sale is scheduled for:
📅 Saturday, June 6
⏰ 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- The City will provide advertising and signage throughout the neighborhood
- Residents are welcome to add their own signs as well
- Please note: The City will not provide junk pickup after the sale
This is always a great opportunity to clean out, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a fun community day.

🚗 Community Safety: Speeding & Traffic Awareness
We continue to explore ways to improve traffic safety throughout Graymoor-Devondale.
There has been discussion about conducting an informal neighborhood straw poll regarding interest in speed humps. This could help gauge community feedback and engagement, though we are also carefully considering the pros and cons before moving forward.
Additionally, recent discussions highlight an important point:
👉 Perception of speeding doesn’t always match actual data.
We encourage residents to stay informed as we evaluate all options for improving safety, including enforcement, traffic calming, and data-driven approaches.
🐾 Reminder: Leash Laws & Pet Safety
We’ve recently had reports of dogs being walked off leash, leading to unsafe situations.
For everyone’s safety:
- Please follow Louisville Metro leash laws
- Keep pets under control at all times
- Be mindful of others in shared spaces like parks and walking paths
A recent incident at Wilder Park serves as a reminder that even well-behaved pets can create unpredictable situations.
